Following a devastating flood at the John Lewis store at Intu Victoria Centre, Nottingham; were 80,000 litres of hot water was leaked from a ruptured heating pipe causing significant damage to the store as well as leaving it without lighting or power; MJ Electrical Services responded immediately, mobilising a significant workforce to help John Lewis restore electrical and life safety services and return to trade within a week. Following the flood, the store underwent a major refurbishment including the replacement of one of the main electrical risers. John Lewis Nottingham were able to continue trading throughout all of the refurbishment and riser replacement works.
