VEGA’s luxe rooftop venue takes over the entire seventh floor of YOTEL Glasgow with a bar, restaurant and four-lane bowling alley which is neon lit and complete with state-of-the-art interactive light shows. VEGA is home to the world’s first dynamic and interactive bowling alley.

The ceiling reacts with the movement of the ball, tracking it as it is bowled down the alley, triggering bespoke visual lighting effects with the movement of the bowling balls, the bowling thrill and experience is heightened by interactive light shows and scenes. Sub-contractors, Studiotech were responsible for the supply, installation, control and programming of the state-of-the-art bowling alley.

Work on this project also included a full electrical installation of the bar and restaurant areas including DMX/DALI controlled lighting throughout, small power and DATA installed.

Creative lighting consultant Artin Lighting were also shortlisted for the design they created for VEGA Glasgow in the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2022 in the category for best lighting.
